About the Charles Village Festival

The Charles Village Festival was an annual two-day event held in the Wyman Park Dell, located at the corner of Charles and 29th Streets in Baltimore City. For over 25 years, the CVF featured excellent food, fine craft beers and wine, local and national craft vendors, live music from Baltimore's best bands and DJs, kids' activities, the Charles Village Pet Parade, Soccer in the Dell, the Painted Lady Walk and the Charles Village Garden Walk. All proceeds from this all-volunteer-produced event benefited our four partners: The Charles Village Civic Association, The Village Learning Place, The Friends of the Wyman Park Dell, and The Charles Village Rec League.

The Charles Village Civic Association works with residents, businesses, community groups, local institutions, and local government to preserve, enhance, and promote the quality of life in the greater Charles Village community.

The Village Learning Place is an independent non-profit library that houses educational programs, enrichment opportunities, and informational resources for Charles Village and throughout Baltimore City. It is the belief of the VLP that libraries are not only a repository for books, but also serve as community centers focused on the personal and professional growth of their patrons.

The Friends of Wyman Park Dell is a 501c3 volunteer run nonprofit with a mission to preserve, protect, and maintain Wyman Park Dell, an Olmsted legacy park at the intersection of Baltimore’s Charles Village and Remington neighborhoods.

The Charles Village Recreation League (CVRL) is an all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide recreational sports for school-aged children and youth in Baltimore in an environment that emphasizes fun, skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
